Error while installing Control-M Agent 6.3.01

I am trying to install control-M Agent on one of our servers.
When I inserted the CD and ran the setup.bat I got the following error

1607: Unable to install InstallShield Scripting Runtime.

has anyone experienced the same error?

Control:
- user right (must be local administrators)
- version of install shield software

Thanks for the reply.

I have admin rights over the server where I am going to install the Agent.
How do I find the version of the InstallShield?

This is resolved.

The problem is because I am trying to install from a CD which is inserted in my local drive and I am trying to install in remote desktop server by accessing the shared drive from my local system.

I copied all the Files from CD into the server and then tried. It worked.

Thanks,
Raj

I assume that you run the setup on the server cd...
Put this kind of infomations clear in the question. In this manner is harder to answer: was a test/joke?

oohh I am sorry if I made u misunderstood.

I always work from my local system and for the servers, I awlays login through remote desktop and so I inserted the CD in my local machine, hence the problem.

Anways , I still had problems after installation to make it working[:(]

what about clusters? which architecture for cluster do you use?
one floating agent or two installations and one active agent? or?

Your problem on the cluster (installation of the fix pack?)
can be ... the remote destop connection !
Try to install directly on the server machine.

cluster administrator is: one installation with failover on both the nodes

no not again the RDC prob,
I have installed it but it was not working, when I run a job in CTM, it says "no nodeid available for the node group"
I did all the post installation procedures but still I could not find out where the error was.

I think there was some problem with the cluster administration itself. It was a testing server, they were doin glot of things on it.
