Question about Advanced File Transfer (AFT) on Unix

Post by jmonl337 » 19 Jan 2008 5:36

Hello there~

We have recently started using the AFT module for Control-M Agent which allows us to create FTP based jobs. So far I've had no issues setting up the Control-M accounts on Windows platforms, but I recently tried to install and setup the AFT package on one of our Unix servers. The install went through after a handful of tries, but now I'm trying to create an account but keep running into issues. When I use the local server as one of the accounts credentials, I'm using an admin username/password. The secondary credentials I am using is a anonymous user/password (windows server) which I know work fine. Ever time I try validating the account, the validation fails telling me that the local user/password (unix) failed validation.

Not sure if this makes a whole lot of sense. If anyone has any tips or have run into this same issue, please let me know.

Try using SFTP (SSH) protocol instead of standard FTP.

Works for me...
