start_service: Illegal node type

We are running Controlm/EM version 8. Now we are upgrading our controlm agents from 6.4 to version 8. After upgrading an agent that was part of a cluster, we started getting CTM6090 -> NS_AG_AV_MNG_cl::start_service: Illegal node type errors in our NS log.
Does anyone know if we are getting these because they are part of a cluster? Is there a way to stop the errors?
