Scheduler Usage

Hi All,

We have SAP BI jobs running from Control-M , sometime Control-M changes the status of a SAP BI jobs as it is failed but at SAP BI the process chain is running without any failure. On further investigating we found a SAP function module RSPC_API_CHAIN_GET_STATUS is being used by Control-M to get the status of a Process chain at SAP BI. During failure notification at Control-M we found that this SAP function module RSPC_API_CHAIN_GET_STATUS do not respond to Control-M in 5 minutes and due to this Control-M reports this job has failed. Please find below error message and attached detailed error message. And this false failure is not happening to particular job so we cannot narrow down the issue. Also from SAP support we got the response as variation in respond is as expected on this issue when we reported. However the only clue we have is this failure is noticed after a Control-M upgrade but we could not relate this issue with the recent upgrade with a proof.

Message from Agent: Control-M For SAP: 0001 = A timeout has occurred, SAP has failed to send a response on time.

Can you please help us in finding a solution for this issue ?

Were u able to fix the issue ? We are also having same error message from our job scheduler recently. Would like to know if you got a fix to this issue.
