Hi,
I was wondering if anyone has experienced the following issue.
I have a batch job, which runs on a remote host. The job runs fine, however, when it comes to sending a shout (to an e-mail) to notify the status of the job, that part fails.
I run it on a normal agent, and the shout works ok.
All communications between remote host and controlm server are all OK.
Thanks.

You can try to send an e-mail with the do-mail option.
You must configure on the server the SMTP settings, for e-mails is always better.
I think that can be a antispam or avirus setting that block the e-mail sent from the remote agent.
Or is a remote host limit/bug because if you set the shout to a Server logical name, the launch is done by the server (but the begin of the process starts from agent).
Is interesting because can be that the shouts to a server program have problems on remote hosts.
