Cluster Install

Post by josh909 » 14 Feb 2013 1:24

Hi
We have a 3 Node cluster setup primarily for SQL, but need controlM setup. I've installed it as a cluster, on Windows 2012, and that part of the install works ok. When I try to run the Fix Pack 3 (on V7.0) it doesn't like it.
"Fix Pack Installation error"
"Query Cluster Resource Failure:During attempt to query....cluster.exe is not recognised as an internal or external command..."

Any suggestions of help appreciated.
Thx.

I don't believe any version of CTM/EM is supported on Win2012 at this point.

We have it working on another SQL Cluster with 2 nodes, jobs run fine. But the same thing happens on this cluster with the Fix Pack.

I agree with GGLAU

Windows 2012 is not supported for now.
And Fiw pack installation detecting your platform could have a problem to run.

Anyway, wich product and version you try to install ?
And did you install previous FP before ?

BMC says FP are cumulatives but in fact not every time.
So I will advice to install each of them...
