ctmagent passwor change on Windows Machines

Hello,
We are on Control-M (v6.1) and Control-M/EM (v6.2). Due to password criteria changes in our company, our ctmagent password for the windows agent has to be updated. Its an active directory account, but I'm not sure what else it would affect if this password is changed.
Does anyone have any information that can help?
