[Solved] New node does not appear in Ctrl-M Desktop

Post by rombapa » 26 Sep 2011 1:34

Hi all,

Using the Configuration Manager I have created a remote host, selected an agent to access this remote host and defined a job owner in the CTM Server's Owners Authentication Settings.
The remote host appears as available in the Configuration Manager.
Yet when I open a job editing form in the Control-M Desktop, the new host does not appear in the dropdown list "Node ID/Group" (Execution tab).

Here is the output of "ctm_diag_comm grumium" ("grumium" is the name of the remote host):

This procedure runs for about 30 seconds. Please wait

Executing ctmping grumium as Remote Host .

Am I missing something?
Any help would be very appreciated.

I had to manually enter the name of the new host in the Node id/Group list.
