How do I become a translator and how much do translators make ? I am still only in high school and becoming a translator is one of the many jobs I would like to pursue. I speak Dutch and English fluently. I understand German and I am taking German in HS . I am also taking Spanish in HS and this is my 5th year taking it. I also understand Afrikaans because it sounds so much like Dutch.
