Agents and Protocols during upgrade

Hi Guys,

Got a quick one here.

We are upgrading our Control-M Environment to V7 in the next couple of weeks.

We only have 2 Control-M Servers with about 30 or so agents connecting to each.

My question is, is a higher server level compatible with a lower agent protocol?

Eg, V6.3.01 Agent connecting to a V7 Server using protocol 7?

Hope that makes sense.

Hi,
Yes it make sense, protocol version must be set on controlm server for that specific agent (by ctm_menu)
07 for 6.3
08 for 6.4
etc...
