Defining a remote host

Post by Dylanesque » 08 Dec 2009 5:21

Hello,

I'm trying to set up agentless monitoring and have followed the instructions as per admin Guide...

1. The CONTROL-M/Agent is installed on either Windows 2003, Windows XP, or a later version.
2. The Log On as option for the CONTROL-M/Agent service is set to This account.
3. The user account that is running the CONTROL-M/Agent service is Administrator and is defined as a Domain user.
Job owners are members of the Administrator group on the remote host.

I just created the SYSOUT directory on the remote host and ensured that all of criteria above has been met altough I'm not sure about the last one...
"Job owners are members of the Administrator group on the remote host".

This seems to imply that I need to set up user on the remote system which corresponds to the job owner in Control M ?

Conf manager just keeps coming back with "No remote server on host "servername".

Any help appreciated.
