SQL Database problem

Post by qzvd7w » 27 Oct 2008 3:44

I am running Control-M 6.2 on windows and an SQL database.
Hardware restarted while controlm was up and it appears to have left some processes in a mixed up state.
If I run a CTM_Menu and check the controlm manger - Check all - it tells me that SQL is not available but SQL tells me it is up and running. I am guessing a flag on the database is wrong - Has anyone got any ideas please? Many thanks. Due to this I am unable to mirror my server.

Henk,
Thank for you reply but we are fully patched up. I logged the problem with BMC and after checking the ProcLogs I was advised the database was corrupt and a rebuild required

For given trouble there is mdf recovery. It is able to work out trouble with corrupted or lost sql data. The software works under any Windows OS. It uses contemporary methods of restoring files from any SQL Server versions.
