Hello,
in a normaly calender you mark thay days that you want to be working days.
In a periodic calender you mark the differentiate periods with a letter.
And and each month has its periods with his day.
Let's say, we want the months of Jan, Feb, Mar as period A, we mark all the days of the months Jan, Feb, Mar ant then we type the letter A and the days are mark with the Letter A and with a number.
This is period A and the same think you can do with the months Apr, May, Jun and this are mark with the Letter B so you have now 2 period.
The same think you can do with weeks or days and so you create your one periods.
I hope, I have helped you
