Problem for make backups

Post by Baloo81 » 06 Jul 2011 4:17

Hello.

First, excuse my English

I have a problem to make my backups.
Every Saturday, we perform the following:
1) shut_ctm
2) shutdb
3) save
4) startdb
5) start_ctm

But when I submit the shut_ctm, before I submit the shutdb, CONTROL-M is a new active.
Thus, the shutdb does not work and say :
"CONTROL-M is running. Can't shut SQL Server."

I check the configurations present in xinetd, nothing manages CTRL-M

If you have an idea to help me out.

my environment is as follows : CONTROL-M 6.3 on Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS release 4 (Nahant Update 8 )
