I restart a project we had stopped last year.
We have a ControlM server v224 running on windows NT4 and DB Sybase.
We'll install a new ControlM server v6.2 on windows 2003 and DB SQL 2000. The server is not build for now.
I installed the migration toolkit to prepare the migration but when i start the procedure of Validation data, i get this message:
Select an Option:1
Starting data validation ...
Failed to open connection to SQL server.
Unable to initialize.
Execution of the Validation step failed.
Check the screen messages and log files located
in the Logs directory under migrate_ctm to
determine the reason for failure. If you still need
help, contact BMC Software Customer Support.
I have no message in the log files.
I want to know if somebody know this problem before open a issue for the support.
Do you know an other procedure to migrate ?
The EM server manage 4 ControlM Server, the one i want to migrate and 3 others.
