Hi There,
At present we are export\import tables from command line.
This is not going to work on workstations that are on Windows 7, as Control-M EM doesn’t get installed on C:\Program Files\BMC\... You can’t access the control-m working directory.
Therefore, we need to automate the process so it does not rely on the program being installed on the workstation. It should run on a server, which has access to all the necessary executables.
Any idea would be highly appreciated.
Regards,
Nancy
Automating Control-M refresh
If you are using exportdeftable, deftable, exportdefjob, defjob or ecs util they are all available on the CONTROL-M EM Server as well as the client.
If you are on *NIX system you should find these utilities in the $ECS_HOME/appl/ecs.1.2/bin.<OS> directory. We are running on Redhat Linux so ours are in $ECS_HOME/appl/ecs.1.2/bin.redhat
Hope it helps.
