How to change Urgency of an Alert Message that is generated

Post by sharonc » 19 May 2010 3:59

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knows whether it is possible to change the Urgency of a System generated alert message that pops up on the Alerts window -
i.e. DATA CENTER <name> WAS DISCONNECTED.
It is currently defaulted to 'Very Urgent', and we need it to be 'Urgent'.

Thanks.

Hi,

I thinks it's not possible to change severity of this alert in the Control-M without SQL update.
This is a internal alert generated directly by the server, but if you have a Monitoring tool like PATROL, you can manage the severity here.
