Output from OS Job Def command

We have a date format issue with our produciton server. In our stage enviroment we run a os command fromthe job def and we get example
20100219

in our stage we get
Fri 02/19/2010

Does anyone know where the date format is set up, this is in a windows enviroment. We have checked all server settings

BMC support isnt any help 2 days and still no result

As I understand ..

What user is your command running under?
Do you have 'logon as user', 'run user login script' checked?

I would suggest, that agent does not uses the same environment as the user, which you are manualy running command.
