NEWDAY running long

Hello. I am relatiavely new to Control-M and would appreciate any help getting me on the right track as far as what to look for.

We are on Control-M v6.2. We perform maintenance (rebooting and backing up our controlm server and gateway) on Saturdays. Our newday procedure runs very fast after the gateway is rebooted on Saturday afternoon. Then, as the week progresses, the procedure runs longer and longer until that gateway server is rebooted again.

Can anyone point me in the right direction on what to look for here?

how much time ?
do you use only the userdaily SYSTEM ?
are you cleaning log/agent sysout/... during the new day procedure ?

Hi,

Check if there are any cyclic jobs in the active network which are running for a long time with max wait more than 2-5 days delete these jobs and reduce the max wait date. Also delete jobs which are in the active nework with huge log/sysout.
