Post by Echelon » 05 Nov 2009 7:07

Hi,

Any way to setup a shout destination do run a script in a remote machine?
I know that i can setup a shout destination to run a script but i need to run that same script in the machine where the job fails.

Thanks.

Maybe you can solve this by ordering/force a job to run the script on the remote server when job turns NOT OK.

do run a script in a remote machine
To run a script on a remote machine, use the job definition, is the correct manner. So, as suggested, force a job the run the script you want.
In the steps panel were you find the shout you find also "do force".

The "shout to a script" is indicated to run a script on the controlM server machine.
