Help Required to Mail the SYSOUT file

I am trying to send SYSOUT through mail.. and for that purpose I have also got the ADD_SYSOUT_TO_EMAIL parameter enabled... But still it's not working.. Could anyone please tell what I need to specify in message body to attach the SYSOUT with mail?

Or Instead of attaching the Sysout file... Is there anyother way to capture it's contents and mail that only..

Hi

Did you Stop and Start your control-m server to enable ADD_SYSOUT_TO_EMAIL ?

And verify size of your SYSOUT attached with
ADD_SYSOUT_TO_EMAIL_LIMIT_SIZE in KB.
0 is unlimited.

Yes, we did bounce the server. But, we have just enabled the ADD_SYSOUT_TO_EMAIL... and have made no changes to other parameters... Do we need to update those too? or default values of these parameter will work?

And what do we need to add in body to attach the sysout file. I would be grateful if you could give a small example on how to use it.

look in admin guide for default limit for ADD_SYSOUT_TO_EMAIL_LIMIT_SIZE

Yeah.. that was 5 MB... and my file would be less than even 100Kb... so I believe that is not an issue..

Probably I am making some mistake in attaching the file... correct me if I am wrong... I am just adding SYSOUT in subject line.. and have tried it in the body as well.. Am I doing it right? or is there some other way???

The following parameters are applicable to DOMAIL, -DOSHOUT (when shout
destination is mail), ctmshout, and –SHOUT (when shout destination is mail).
NOTE
The SYSOUT of a job can be attached to an e-mail message only if the job has completed
processing.
Table 127 E-mail configuration parameters (part 1 of 2)
Parameters Description
ADD_SYSOUT_TO_EMAIL Determines whether the SYSOUT of a job can be attached
to e-mail messages. Valid values:
■ N – No. When specified, the SYSOUT of a job is not
attached. This setting overrides any specification made
elsewhere. Default.
■ A – Attachment. When specified, the SYSOUT of a job
is attached. This setting overrides any specification
made elsewhere.
Note: To implement a change to this parameter, you must
shut down and then restart CONTROL-M/Server. For
more information about starting and stopping
CONTROL-M/Server manually, see page 311.
ADD_SYSOUT_TO_EMAIL_
LIMIT_SIZE
Determines the maximum size of the attachment SYSOUT
file in kilobytes. You can specify the value 0 for unlimited
size. Default: 5120KB (5MB)
Note:
■ If the SYSOUT file is larger than the specified
maximum size, the SYSOUT will not be attached to the
e-mail message.
■ To implement a change to this parameter, you must
shut down and then restart CONTROL-M/Server. For
more information about starting and stopping
CONTROL-M/Server manually, see page 311.
