Timezone

Post by Noynoy » 16 Apr 2008 10:38

Hi,

I noticed in our Control-M Configuration Manager for the CTM DC definition page, the timezone is GMT-05:00.

How to I change it to GMT-04:00 (US is now on DST and should be -04:00). I tried modifying the TimeZone.dat but the info did not change. Do I need to bring down CTM Server?

Thanks in advance.

rgds,

Noynoy

Yes, the server needs to be rebooted for the change to take affect.

In CCM, the timezone of CTM server is the provided by the server configuration agent, which is always in standard time. You need to specify the daylight saving time period manually, which is immediately below where you see the server timezone.

This timezone information is only for Forecast. It has nothing to do with TimeZone.dat, which specifies the GMT offsets for timezones used in job definitions. A restart of CTM server (not machine reboot) is required after modifying TimeZone.dat.
