Job flow diagram export

Post by jabali » 11 Sep 2013 7:21

Hi,
Is there any way to download the flow diagram generated by control M? The one which shows the the jobs and their dependencies in graphic format.
Right now the best i can do is take multiple screen shots and attach them. There has to be a better way.

P.S. I am looking for an inbuilt functionality in control M. I know about VisualJob but i would prefer not to use it.

Thank in advance

You can print flow diagram as appearing on screen. There are many freeware programs to print to PDF.

I got that wrong.
I am looking for a program that can represent the workflow of Control / M better than the internal print module.
Our job networks partially blend in width and are therefore difficult to portray.
So far I have not priced program (preferably freeware) found with the favorable representation is possible.

Hi,

Thank you for responses.

However what i need is actually an addon/software which will print out the entire flow diagram.

There are about 130 jobs in a single flow with interdependencies between them. Taking a screen shot is just not possible.

Thank you Anirudh.
That link is helpful.
Out of curiosity is there a way to do it without using 3rd party applications? Control M must be having a report creation mechanism....
