I need help on how to get a job status for the last 15 days or so on. How can you pull that info from Control M GUI working on 6.4. Please advise.

You can use archive view point for that. But remember it will only show you the jobs of last 15 days if your control-M is set to retain the archive view point for more than 15 days or so ..

The number of historic days you keep in the Control-M database is limited for good reason (performance).
If you need statistical information for a longer period, it may be a good idea to collect these outside the Control-M production environment. A tool which provides this capability is VISUALjob:
