Parallel Job running

Hi,

I had a requirement, there are two jobs A and B. Job A is cyclic and runs from 0900 to 1600, job B is standalone job and runs at 0930.

Job B should run only if Job A is running and should not run if Job A is completed.

Want to know how to develope this job, Please help.

job a have to add a prereq. condition (or quant. ressource).
if job a ends ok the prereq. condition (quant. resource) have to be deleted and job b was forced ok.

Job b run only if prereq. condition (quant. ressource) exists.

How can post a pre-req condition all conditions will be posted at the end of the job rt?

Hi tnrchinna,

use the variable PRECMD
(Specifies a command to run immediately before running the job defined by MEMNAME)
in combination with ctmcontb or ctmldnrs.

Of course with jobschubse.

JobA - Owner controlm
- Set Var Name %%PRECMD ctmcontb -ADD PRUEBAA-OK ODAT
%%POSTCMD ctmcontb -DELETE PRUEBAA-OK ODAT

JobB - Condition IN PRUEBAA-OK and submitted at 09:30

So we get executed the jobA and jobB in parallel.
