Successor Job Should Not Run When Predecessor Fails

Post by ppraveen » 30 Jul 2010 9:04

Hi,

I have two jobs wherein Job A runs only on 1 and 24 and job B runs on last day of the month (L1) and having dependences between them A->B,
Once job A excutes sucessfully it should post the condition to job B
If i place a IN condition in job B as A-B OK **** then it excutes even if job A abends on 24(taking the condition posted on 1st ), but i wanted B should not execute if 24th run is in abend,

As we anyday(****) searches for past 1 month, this is happening,
but can we achieve by controlling anyday(****) condition searching for only past 7 days, else can we achieve this by log ?

can we control Pre-requisite conditions log will be there only for 7 days in AJF ?
Tkanks
