control-m proclog

it is a (silent) prerequisite to install control-m server with at least 10 Go, in case of debug status on on NS TR SL level 4.
So if you install a new control-m server install a specific FS for $HOME/ctm_server/proclog with the right debug place.

if you don't and if the buisness is impacted, and you should not stop/start control-m server, you will wait a long time for critical case.

and a config.dat with :
OS_DIAG_LIMIT_LOG_FILE_SIZE 100
OS_DIAG_LIMIT_LOG_VERSIONS 25

and do not delete a version turn over should not run anymore ...

What do you think about it, and have you experience it ?

Hi dear friends,

In case of DOS (Denial Of Service) an attacker can easily exhaust all the host available memory because n top is creating entries for dummy hosts.

Note that activating either the net Flow and/or s Flow plug ins will force the setting of -M. Once enabled, you cannot go back.

We have a Control-M Agent which produced the following error repeatedly in the
AS log, it then core dumped and the Agent became unavailable:

0125 02:27:32:34 AS:createLocaleByName: ERROR: Locale - '.UTF-8' has not been cr
eated
0125 02:27:32:35 AS:createLocaleByName: GCGetLocale failed - Fatal data loading error.
