Adding compatibility with the DB server Mysql ?
We are now looking for our first Open Source database support. Our selection based on various technical, legal and contract related factors is for PostGreSQL.
The database platform coverage is being updated almost with each and every release, based on market demand and on our capacity to execute. Our reality is that the combination of all requirements out there is much bigger than our ability to execute.
MySQL was a candidate that made it to the final (but lost) when we started looking at Open Source databases. Currently, we have no concrete plans of adding it but - this might change in the future.
