SAP Spool retention

Hi,

Could someone tell me what Control M SAP options I have to control job spool file retention? I see on the SAP form for ABAP programs print expiration is 1-8 and do not delete. Are these my only options? Is there a setting on the SAP side that may need to be flagged. We would like the spools to not delete.
Any ideas. This is for Control M 6.2.01.3

On the SAP side you are probably running program RSPO1041 to control how long you keep SAP spools. Your BASIS team should be able to tell you how long they can keep spools for without affecting SAP performance. There is a facility in the SAP CM under "output management" where you can copy an SAP sysout to a file. That may be your best option. I don't know of any other way the CM can delete SAP spools other than the way you mentioned. Hope this helps.
