CPU Load Filetransfer FW or Cyclic Job

Hello all,
maybe this topic was answered some 1000 times, but I could not find any related thread within "Scheduler-Usage" or internet. Also within BMC-Docs I found no hint, so any ideas are appreciated.
Q.:
Which kind of job will cause more server load by consuming resources (cpu cycles, memory, network traffic):
- continous AFT filewatch for 10h, finished after transfer
or
- cyclic job 20 times every 30m, which runs an AFT and stop after transfer
?
Control-M Version is 7.
