CM for SAP vs SAP XI

Hello group,
We need to talk to a customer about CM for SAP.

I recently saw that SAP has a thing called SAP Exchange Infrastructure (XI) that enables you to connect different systems from different vendors and different programming languages to each other.

Has anybody seen that in action and how can this be an obstacle to proove the capabilities of CM for SAP?

Hi,
We schedule jobs in XI, R3 and BW without problems.
You can schedule 2 types of objects: program (abap scripts) and ifopackages (etl objects).
In R3, XI, HR etc you schedule abap programs and in BW you can schedule also infopackages.
