Hi,
I don't know anything about Informatica WorkFlow.
So, as some other tools as GENIO for example you can invoke in Command Line some order.
If all your treatment is managed only by Informatica it will be difficult to build a scenario with Control-M.
The most important will be to split your treatment as a single step and launch with a Control-M job each of them and detect exit code more easily.
In your case :
Job 1 to extract from Sybase
Job 2 to load data in Orcale
and different other jobs to start dataserver or to relaunch extraction in cas of Job 1 exit with an error different of 0.
I hope to have helped you.
Test case scenarios needed for control M jobs

Hi Ravikumar, we use Ascential datastages as ETL tool, what we generally do in + testing is , just trigger the ETL job from Control-M job using some unix shell scripts and see if it is triggering the ETL job and getting the perfect return codes back in the SYSOUT. And in -VE testing we trigger the job in the same way and then kill the job to see if it is getting killed and make sure all the shouts are performed..
thanks,
thanks,
