Pop-up alert notification with CONTROL-M/EM

I'm just curious...

Can I define CONTROL-M/EM Shout message or Alert message which will appear as pop-up window with defined message, in top of any other open window? Or display this Shout/Alert as Desktop Alert with sound (as in Outlook, or Lotus)?

Any idea how to do that? I can use that using Outlook e-mail client and define a rule for specific e-mail message from CONTROL-M, rule which will show Desktop Alert or somethink like that. But i would like this functionality directly in CONTROL-M.

Within the EM GUI you can change the options for what happens on your client when an alert occurs. Use Tools --> Options then select 'Alerts'. You can choose whether a new alert flashes on the toolbar or pops up on front of all other windows.

Of course, you must connect to the alerts server before this can happen. If you want to ensure that this occurs on a client, there is an option in the same screen to Automatically Connect to Global Alerts Server.
