doubt about a alert in Control-M.

Post by futre25 » 14 Mar 2012 9:30

Hi to all.

We have installed a new Control-M Server, and from that moment all diías we see the following alert:

- STATUS OF AGENT PLATFORM tcontrolm CHANGED TO AVAILABLE.

Because this alert appears every day, if we do not stop or start the agent?.

In the Control-M Server only have the agent tcontrolm, that is server and agent.
In the other server does not appear this warning in their agents.

That I have different about this server to display this alert.

Thanks very much to all.

hello
it's a bug of FP2 CTM SERVER 7.00
To stop the alerts there are 2 parameters to add to the donfig.dat file on the Control-M/Server.
1. From the command line of the Control-M/Server, run the command: shut_ca
2. Edit the ctm_server/data/config.dat file and add these 2 lines:

CTM_CONFIG_AGENT_GET_HOSTNAME_INTERVAL -1
CTM_CONFIG_AGENT_INITIAL_GET_HOSTNAME_INTERVAL -1

3. Save the file

4. Run the command: start_ca

5. Verify that the alerts have stopped.

This item is related to CAR00044421 and is targeted for release in Fix Pack 3 of Control-M/Server.
