Control-M Sever Database and EM Database

Can anyone please explain about Control-M/Server Database and Control-M/EM Database. Why Control-M has two databases?

hi, i know controlm installation and use only one database (ctm/server)--> oracle.

This is because those 2 components are having separate shemas for storing the information, and moreover, you can split those shemas between 2 databases if you like, the same as for components it self. However, most installations are probably using only one database for storing Control-M/Server and Control-M/EM shemas.
Also you can have Control-M/Server and Control-M/EM on the diffrent server if you like.
