Integrating Control-M with .net application

Post by stanzi » 19 Jul 2007 11:38

Hi, is there an API available for CONTROL-M where i can use to integrate .net application with CONTROL-M? The application will need to make use of Control-M job monitoring capabilities specifically the BIM module. Thanks in advance for any help that you can provide.

Hi fyot,

I noticed that it provides a web service, do you know what functionality or usage it provides? Is it the same as the API running with Java which i assume will have everything needed for control-m BIM module? Thanks again fyot.

The only way to intergrate the .net application, for it uses .dll files, is to have it in an .exe file to be submitted within Control-M. Had the same problem a year back with a major roll out into an environment at one of my customers. This helped when the .net application people started transfering the .dll files to .exe files which is acceptable to Control-M, and believe me, they will not be reluctant to do the change one their side.
