Hi,

What is meant by Advanced file transfer?
I don't have any idea on this can u explain in detail.

This is the integrated BMC Control-M Control Module solution for managing files beetween hosts (as CFT)

Can you please brief it more so that we can get a clear idea on what AFT is and its purpose......

AFT is used for doing file transfer between servers. It can be used to send and receive files from outside servers or internal servers. It can also rename files and it also can do most ftp comands that you could do on a server.
It also does automatic restart of transfers if they get interrupted.
It can do ssh sftp and other protocols.
