Control Resource - who gets it first

I'm trying to find out what the priority is for a group of jobs that all want a certain Control Resource.

Example....There are 30 jobs from odat 2/24 that still need to grap a particular resource and 60 jobs for odat 2/25 just met all other conditions to run and are also now waiting for the same resource. Why don't the jobs from the previous odat have priority over the jobs from the current odat?

We are running Control-M\EM v6.2

because you're not using Control-M priority, so Control-M server, is using a FIFO system, the older orderid's are taken first if they can be submit.

Control-M internally handles jobs LIFO. Everything being equal, a job with higher order ID will win over job with lower order ID.

I was under the same impression as you philmalmaison. I believed the criteria was FIFO, but as a coincidence the need to confirm this came up to me yesterday so I did some digging in BMC's knowledge database.
I found record SLN000000194514 that explains in details the functionality behind the priorities, and it is mentioned that jobs with the same priority are handled LIFO (last in first out).

24th ODATE job will only run first ..once concern resource released for jobs ......once after completeion of 24th run.. then next day job starts....
