Alerts in Control-M.

Post by futre25 » 11 Nov 2009 8:01

Hi,

The question is how to manage the Control-M alerts.
The current alerts that we have show when one job fails, when the status of one job is NO-OK or when an agent falls down.
How can we activate an alert when one job finish either OK or NO-OK? Or when an agent is down?
I have been notified that there are some values in CCM System Parameters to define the alerts. Which are these values? Where should I set up the agents I want to be shown?
What do “Exception Alerts” mean? What are those ones for?

Thanks to all.

I know these default tipes, others can add more:

1) Job ENDED NOT OK
2) DATACENTER WAS DISCONNECTED
3) STATUS OF AGENT PLATFORM CHANGED TO UNAVAILABLE
4) some of the JOBS are not be ordered
5) gateways disconnected

In that file is added and as submitted to the Control-M.

Thanks to all.
