Control M operations through commands

Post by bullu » 22 Sep 2009 7:16

Dears,

Hope all of you are doing good. We have an oracle server for control m. I just wanted to know performing control M basic operations using commands and not in GUI mode. The operations are monitoring, order/force,restart,submit,force ok etc.. ideally the process that we do using control m enterprise manager. Also, how can this process be termed as? "performing control m activities in command mode"? any titles as such would be helpful for me as I'm preparing a documentation for myself and noting everything down.

Regards,
Karthik

Hi,

see the <ctmpsm> Control-M utility

The ctmpsm utility can be invoked interactively to display the CONTROL-M Production Support menu. This menu is used to perform functions affecting jobs or conditions in the active environment of the data center. It provides an alternative to using the CONTROL-M/EM GUI and enables you to perform many of the GUI functions directly in the data center.
Best regards
Walty
