File Check through control m

Hi,

Is there any way to check for an input file through control m? Lets say there is a job (x) schedule to run @ 10AM. The job fails if it does not have the required input file. The input file is located in a unix server(/appl/Input/x). I need a check for the input file to happen before the job actually begins & send an alert mail(shout in contro m) if the file is not found. Is it possible? I dont want to write an unix script for file checking

You can use Control-M File watcher Utility for this
