MIB file for SNMP traps on Control-M/EM 6.1.03

Hi All,
I am looking for a MIB file for Control M 6.1.03.300 Trying to capture SNMP traps to HP Openview NSM(Network Services Manager).

My objective is to have autoticketing implimented using this through HP Openview Service desk ticketing tool. Has anyone done this?????

p.s.s - How do I attach a file or image to my posts?. Sorry, I a new to this forum. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

Have you contacted your BMC rep??? My rep sent me a Control-M SPI for HP OpenView v 6.2.01 and said it would work with 6.1.03.

Hi,

There are no existing MIB about Control-M 6.1.03.
And I am almost sure it s the same concerning 6.2.xx and 6.3.xx.

The only way BMC purpose is to customized your Monitoring tools receiving SNMP Traps from Control-M Server.

Traps are the same for each Control-M Server version.
You can found a lot information in the following forum
CONTROL-M and SNMP Traps.

Or you can read the last Control-M Server Administration Guide and find information about ctm2snmp utility. (The version 6.3.01 is very clear.)

You are correct in version 6.1 and 6.2 But, I do have a MIB given to my by BMC support for ver.6.3. The only issue with this MIB and earlier versions of Control M is that ver.6.3 passes 20 strings in the SNMP trap and ver.6.1/6.2 only passes 15. Also some of the OID string data is in different positions in the trap. The story I got from support about the MIB files is that Control M was previously owned by another company thats why no MIB for earlier versions. I am currently attempting to build a MIB for ver. 6.1/ 6.2 will post if successful....

It's true there is a MIB for the 6.3 version.
Here is the link for all wishing to use it. MIB for 6.3.

BCBSLA is correct. BMC now has a MIB for version 6.3. for versions 6.1, 6.2, you need to create your own. I'll see if I can find some.

PS. We are sunsetting support for 6.1.01, 2.2.4, 6.0* by April 1, 2007. please upgrade A.S.A.P.
