Why my VAR set by ctmvar in PRECMD has wrong value?

Post by ynk » 02 Jun 2015 4:18

Hello everybody,

I set a var with ctmvar in script run by PRECMD.
But when I use my var in my job command line, my var value is wrong at the 1st run of my job.
After rerun my job, my var value is right.

Do you have any idea of root cause of this ?

Thanks a lot
Ynk

Hello,

Awaiting your idea...
I've inserted a new job before the "not working one" which execute the command line previously set in PRECMD  It works fine.

In order to reduce number of job, your other solution will be welcome...

Have a nice day

Hi ynk,

using ctmvar to set variable in this case is a nonsense: set the variable in the autoedit/variable panel, is done for this --> use it.
Also to set variable in another/previous job to set variable used by another one ....

Regards
