I set a variable to pass back to my job for the email bodies.
$exe is the path and name of CTMVAR.
&$exe -action set -var "%%\EMAIL_BODY" -varexpr $body
I then use this variable in the STEPS panel as the body of emails sent out depending on CM Job outcome.
However, somewhere there are extra CRLF being added to the $body text so that in Outlook there are many extra blank lines which makes it look bad.
I believe CM is adding these as the same $body variable is also sent to a log file which has the expected formating. There are no exta CRLF in the saved file.
