Loss of the agent's CONFIG.dat file/V6.2.01

Agent Controlm V6.2.01
filesystem saturated agent what we suppose in provoked the loss of the file CONFIG.dat
directorie /products/ agc <agent_name> and impossible to stop the agent cleanly.We kill him.
So we've copy of the CONFIG.dat of another agent and change port Server/Agent and the other parameters of the file CONFIG.dat and it's Ok

Have you already had this scenario? the loss of the file CONFIG.dat of the agent.
Or you have a track to look possibly for logs.... I specify that I begin.....

I have esperienced the loss or corruption of the "CONFIG.dat" file, In this cases I restore it from last backup.
The solution is eliminate the cause, so in your case have ever sufficient disk space.

To have the best results after loosing the Agents config.dat file, my suggestion will be to re-install the agent. Now it is easy to do, for the ag_custom script is there...After running it, it will provide you with a new config.dat file...Space is definite a BIG problem where you loose you config.dat file
