I have an issue (more often than not) where the ControlM Desktop will hang when writing a table back to the controlM-EM Database. The process status bar displayed when a table is written back to the database will either halt while in the 'sending data' phase or continue moving but not get past the 'clearing data' phase.
At this point, I will have to do the following:
- terminate the ControlM desktop window,
- restart the ControlM desktop,
- go to scheduling tables and UNLOCK the table that was being written at the time
It will be pot luck if it will work again on any subsequent attempt.
I have tried this action on multiples tables (one at a time), tables read from the ControlM Database and also from pre-existing copies of drafts with the same results.
I have managed to get tables to load (but not consistently) after performing the following actions:
- restart the Administration Agent via the root_menu
- restart the Gateway and associated components via the admin facility
All of the above is being performed on a test environment with ControlM version 6.1.03.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
