Refresh command for NET / Anyone know a way to issue auto?

Post by lenny-k » 30 Jul 2010 8:02

All,

Does anyone know how to have the 'REFRESH' command that is manually entered on Control-M on the MF from the =3 screen so that when you do a 'N' or NET command next to a job you get the listing of jobs.

I would like to know if there is a way to 'automate' via ??? or a batch job
that would run every thirty minutes or so to issue the 'REFRESH' top line
command so that when I do a 'N' NET next to a job I will have a semi-recent display and not have to manually enter refresh every time I am checing on batch flows.

I usually will get the 'NET-FILE IS NOT UPDATED, "REFRESH" IS NEEDED'
when I am trying to follow the job flow, etc.

Thanks,

Len

Hi,

Get the system command 'f controlm, net' issued every 30 minutes.

One way you can do it using a batch job using the utility IOAOPR.
