How to disable the scheduling of a job for a specific date?

Post by kernel301 » 12 May 2010 1:28

Hello
I wonder how Disable scheduling a job in control -M for a specific date, without going through its suppression of the plan of the day
For example: a job which runs all week, and I wish they would not turn one time on this Thursday and Friday only
How do I please
Regards

Hi,
You should use the calendars in Control/M Desktop (Edit-->Calendars Manager).

Regards,

Another way to do this is in the Control-M Desktop for this job
in the Scheduling tab there is an Active Date from and to date field
You can select Not Active and put in the date or dates you dont want it to run and then look at Forecast and make sure it picks it up.
And adjust accordingly.
