CTMSHOUT - strange issue

Hi All,

We are running 6.4.01 on Windows.

When I run a job as owner=123456 on agent ABCDE, the SHOUT to ABC does not work - 'EMAIL TO ABC FAILED'.

The server/agent is set that 'Login as user' is not selected.
The agent is to use 'Login as user'.
The server/agent service runs as user 654321.

If I run the job as 654321, the shout works.
If I run the job as 123456 on the server, the shout works.

Does anyone know the process that CTMSHOUT goes through?

This has really got me stumped!

In case anyone is interested - I have made a discovery! :-

In the config.dat file, we have ADD_SYSOUT_TO_EMAIL A

So what is happening is, the shout is trying to attach the sysout. This is visible in the shout log in the Proclog folder.

Aparently, fix pack 2 should resolve this.

I will keep you informed.
