Clean the AJF with cluster

Post by Diablau » 10 Aug 2009 3:57

Hi,
Our Control-M servers are clusters. We would like to clean the AJF, but when we proceed, it says: "The server is running" (or something like that) telling us to stop the server to make an AJF cleaning. The problem is that when we do a "Stop All" the server on which we do this gives the control to the other one (cluster) and the wheel goes round and round. How can we clean our AJF with control-m clusters servers?
Hope that's clear.
Thanks

depending on your cluster managment, you can probably freeze the cluster during you stop / clean ajf / start your controlm server.

Hello!
That's what we've done: Paused the passive node - Stopped the ctrl-m server using ctm_menu first option (control-m manager) - Cleaned the AJF using troubleshooting option in ctm_menu - Restarded and resumed ctrl-m server and passive node.
Then it has worked!
